For SOUTHWEST COAST, Southeast Cape to Low Rocky Point Westerly winds 15 to 25 knots, locally 30 knots in the south, tending northwesterly late in the day and increasing to 30 to 40 knots, 45 knots in the south in the evening. Seas 2 to 3 metres increasing to 3 to 5 metres. West to southwest swell 1.5 to 2 metres, increasing to 3 to 3 to 4 metres tomorrow.

Strong wind warning 26 to 33 knots.
Gale warning 34 to 47 knots.
Storm force wind warning 48 to 63 knots.
Hurrican force wind warning: 64 knots or more.
