Extra Fuel

Too deadly!

One more calculation with fuel consumption.

Always take more fuel than you think you will use.

Current, tide, wind and emergencies all change the amount of fuel that we use.

To be safe, take at least 30% more fuel than you think you will use.

Hey what? How do I work that out?

Lets have a look.

30% is roughly a third.

To find a third - divide fuel in litres by three.

Always round decimal numbers up.

Fuel ÷ 3 = Extra Fuel
