Elevation and Range

This light is a lighthouse. It has two more important bits of information.

Elevation is the height above sea level of the light in metres. The light is 37 metres above sea level.

Range is the distance that a light can be seen at night. The light can be seen from 11 nautical miles on a clear night.

Elevation and range help us tell lights apart.
